The Domain :

Corcelles-en-Beaujolais, between Lyon and Mâcon, is a village at the middle of the Beaujolais. This is where the 27 hectares of the Domaine J. Boulon estate has been situated for 7 generations.

Two of the best appellation wines are produced here : the Morgon (6 ha), rich and powerful with cherry, peach or apricot aromas and the ruby coloured Moulin à Vent (1 ha) named the “Seigneur des Beaujolais”; there are also the Beaujolais rouge – the traditional fresh and aromatic Beaujolais, the world famous Beaujolais Nouveau or the fleshy and fruity Beaujolais from the old parcels; and not to be forgotten the Beaujolais rosé and Beaujolais blanc (2 ha), commonly know in the region as the “perle blanche”. We Produce also one “Crémant de Bourgogne”, one light sparkling rose named “Célèste” with few alcohol and a mellow white named “Secret d’Amandine”

All in all a production of 1,700 hectolitres of which middle are sold directly to their customers and the remaining through the supply-chain and the export.

The estate (4 peoples) has placed the focus on exports, which currently account for 10% of the activity, mainly to England, Belgium and Austria. They are currently directing their efforts towards the international market whilst looking at new markets, in particular the north of America and the east of the Europe and Asia, with the creation of special labels specifically for exports.
