Tying

Around flowering, the first of the tying begins. It is a very tense period because there are many things to manage at the same time, in the vineyard, and in the winery and with the deliveries.

The canes must be protected so that they don’t break under their own weight or in gusts of wind. This is done by tucking them between the wires
